Dear Patients and Prospective Patients,
We are writing to share with you the steps we are taking to keep you safe while supporting your rehabilitation needs during the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The safety of you, our patients, is our top priority.
Our office will be following the recommended precaution protocols as outlined by the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association). These protocols pertain to practicing proper techniques to prevent pathogen transmission and include properly washing hands, fingers, and wrists, covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow, staying home when sick, and avoiding touching eyes, nose, and/or mouth. In addition, we will follow strict clinic cleaning guidelines which includes appropriately disinfecting of all surfaces, equipment, and supplies after each use and on a regular basis.
For a detailed outline of the APTA protocols, please feel free to visit the APTA Guidelines post that we are adhering to.
Though we traditionally follow these guidelines, we will be asking patients to also actively participate in these protocols by requesting that all patients wash their hands upon arrival and departure as well as follow the guidelines listed above. Additionally, we are asking that all patients consider the state of their personal health prior to arriving for therapy. We ask that if you are not feeling well and/or are exhibiting any possible symptoms such as fever or cough, to simply notify our office to reschedule your appointment for a later date. This will help to ensure your health and well-being, as well as that of our entire patient population. As your therapist and support staff, we will follow the same protocol. Should we need to cancel because of illness, you will be notified via phone on the number you have provided our office.
These are certainly unprecedented times, but we are confident we have the resilience needed to get through this. We thank you for continuing to put your trust in our team. We will continue our mission to work to support you and your rehabilitation needs with the upmost quality, compassion, and due diligence. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by direct messages, phone or email.

Mignacca Physical Therapy, Ltd.
In an effort to support you with your rehabilitation needs during this difficult time, we remain open and continue to provide quality healthcare in our office. For the safety of our patients, we continue to follow the CDC guidelines which includes limiting the number of patients in the office, maintaining appropriate space between patients, washing hands frequently, and disinfecting all equipment, machines, and surfaces on a regular basis. We recognize, however, providing care to you in the office may not be an option so we are offering recently approved TeleHealth services at no charge to you.*
* Most insurances have implemented telehealth medical treatment services covered at 100% as long as outpatient physical therapy benefits are included in your medical coverage plan.By no means is this the same as an in-office visit, but here is how TeleHealth Medicine can support your Physical Therapy rehabilitation plan:
